A more specific schedule will be sent to Band Directors.

The AVJE Event Chair, Committee Chair, Auditions Chair, and an additional teacher chaperone will be in attendance for the entire event to ensure proper conduct and student safety.

 

The AVJE rehearses and performs at the VMEA Conference in Norfolk, Virginia

Wednesday, November 16: Student Registration, Meet & Greet Dinner, Evening Rehearsal

Thursday, November 17: Rehearsals at the Roper Performing Arts Center. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included in Fee.

Friday, November 18: Rehearsals at the Roper Performing Arts Center. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included in Fee

Saturday, November 19: Rehearsals at the Roper Theater. Breakfast & Lunch included in Fee.

1:00pm: All Virginia Jazz Ensemble Concert at the Roper Performing Arts Center.

2:30pm: Parent pick-up at the Tazewell Hotel
